The novel series collected a lot of success and the TV adaptation is expected to be nothing less. The point of making a TV series about a samurai novel is that in the novel the fight sequences seem great but if those fight sequences are put into a well made animated series it just might be the next best thing in Japanese animation.
The Hyakka Ryouran Samurai Girls series basically consists of a main hero who is male, a bunch of mysterious pure girls that fell nude from the sky, a bunch of bad girls and a few other mysterious characters like a girl with an eye patch who came into the same class as the main hero. The whole series seems to be filled more with drama than action, but that is just a judgment from the trailer; the actual animation series may be different from the trailer and there is definitely hoped that the action is good; at least more real in physics.
